| A Smile On Every Child | Aug 08, 2005 |

A SMILE on EVERY
CHILDs face. No matter where the children live, no matter whose
children they are; all of them deserve a Smile on their Face, all the
time.
Children are to be loved and cared for; they are not to be abused and
exposed to violence.
Children are to be in good hands and free from any harm; they are not
to be used as child soldiers in conflicts or exploited.
Children are to be in school getting education and to receive good
health facilities; they are not to be on streets shinning shoes and
begging.
All children deserve to smile all day , every day.
You see pictures of children sad, crying, starving and ignored. We can
make a difference. We can put a smile on every childs face.
We have the technology, the brains to work things out, and the health
to help around. Then WHY are so many still suffering?
Things can be done but most of the times are ignored by us.
The situation is known but constantly is overlooked.
Things are done but after some time are forgotten.
Discussions and BIG conferences are held but most of the time they end
up on Paper.
Things are talked & talked & talked about and they remain just
Talks and no Action.
Its hard but not impossible. One person alone cant make a lot of
difference but working together we can change a lot. Action is what is
needed. We can all Take Action in some way or another. It is not always
about donating thousands of dollars that most of us dont even have;
little things matter.
Showing that you care, and giving a hand to the
needy ones is a way to make a difference. Many people today need a hand
no matter where they live in America or Africa, there are needy people
every where. Look around your community; do you see all Smiley faces?
NO !
If you care and want to make a difference, why not start first with
your neighbor and then with your community? See what you can do to
help, because there are many things one can do. Gain experience and
contribute to the community, volunteer in programs if possible, make
your voice heard in any way possible. Dont give up hope.
If every person would think that way the whole world would be a better
place; a brighter one for everyone. Lets make a pact; a pact of Action
for a better world for you and for me and for everyone!
